Care Teams

At CWC we believe in equipping the body to extend care to each other in times of need. There are a variety of care teams that extend this spiritual support. They include sending cards, sharing communion to our shut ins, making quilts, helping with funeral dinner meals, and other tangible ways of caring.

Homebound Communion

Once a month on Sunday following the worship service. A group of individuals take communion to our homebound, shut-in people who are part of CWC. This is a great opportunity to extend this sacrament to those who are not able to normally participate.

Funeral Team

Throughout the year, CWC is invited into people's lives during seasons of loss. This group extends care and compassion by providing a meal following the funeral, or providing refreshments during the visitation.

Card Care

Once a month, this team spends time writing cards to individuals who have walked through challenging seasons of life in the past month. They do this during a Sunday service in the atrium, or in their homes. Cards are provided.
